This is a nice budget accommodation if you are staying in Svenborg. We arrived late and caught the ferry in the morning, so it worked for us. There is a fridge with a shelf, if you are traveling with perishables. Check-in does not require meeting the owners, which is helpful.

Svendborg is a lovely seaport with great seafood.
Svendborg is a lovely seaport with great seafood. During the summer the harbour is filled with many interesting old, wooden, sea craft and there are many restaurants and bars close by. A ferry to the neighbouring island of Æreø departs from the harbour every 1-2 hours. The small town of Ærøskøbing on this island is well worth a visit. This place is like something out of a Walt Disney movie. Cobbled streets are lined on both sides with beautiful houses all of which seem to date from 1700-1800's with odd ones dating back even earlier.

Beautiful little town.
Beautiful little town. We arrived on a Friday late afternoon and it was great to be in a lively city after days in the country side. We really enjoyed walking around the harbour, where there was plenty of choice for drinks and food. Downtown was lovely too.EliseUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

We were supposed to move to Odense, but we fell in love with Svendborg and decided to look for an apartment here. It is a truly magical place with its good people. It fits old and young just perfectly. Great architecture. Can't wait to celebrate Christmas here

It is located near the city-centre so that you could reach everything by foot. The breakfast was really nice with great atmosphere. The host took care of the covid-19 rules and prepared breakfast for each group of guests separately. We could freely choose the time and I had everything I wanted. There is no place for breakfast nearby, except 7-11. It is close to the train station and the ferry terminal. There are several restaurants within a couple of blocks.
